Two very talented people were responsible for the
cover art for my book. First, Gustavo Salazar, a longtime patient of my husband's, graciously offered to draw the beautiful
landscape design for the town of Harmony. Gus captured the exact feeling that I had wanted of a small California coastal
town of the 1930's.
Then my very talented older brother, Leo McMahon, of LJM Graphx, worked his computer magic and
created the sheriff's badge and rosaries and then artfully superimposed them over the town.

My older brother Leo has many talents. For one, he's
an artist and sculptor who for years specialized in beautifully designed duck decoys. But he surprised all of us in the family
when he invited us to the premier of his first ever movie, "Choosing Sides."
Want to learn more about Leo's movie and
how to purchase a DVD? Go to his web site Choosing Sides
and check it out. And if you visit his site, be sure to let him know his sister sent you!

Gustavo Salazar worked for years for the city of West
Covina and is known and loved by many in our area. He loves to draw and sketch and I'm very lucky that he not only wanted
to read my book, he loved it and offered to make sketches of the town.

My brother's first attempt at movie making just may
be the next cult classic!

Gus is pretty proud of the cover, too.

I've received so many compliments for my cover, I'm
proud if my book is judged by it!
